Our Wedding Location - “Gipfelhaus am Magdalensberg”
1,059m above sea level, the Gipfelhaus offers an amazing view of the southernmost state of Austria, Carinthia. Equipped with a small 14th-century church and surrounded by mountain wildlife, we aim to blend Austrian tradition with an atmosphere reminiscent of the Drakensberg and parts of the Cape in South Africa.
Wedding Weekend Schedule
We will be having a small welcome dinner at the venue the evening before the wedding in traditional Austrian clothing. The wedding ceremony will start at 3 pm and continue till late.

Welcome Dinner 7:00 pm
Join us in lederhosen and dirndl for a festive evening filled with Austrian food, drinks, and laughter! Regular clothes are welcome too. We'll start around 7pm and the evening will likely wind down around 9–10pm. Please let us know if you'll be joining us!

Church Ceremony 3:00 pm
Please arrive a little early to be seated. Shuttle services to the venue will be available — register in advance if you'd like to use them. Dress code is festive formal, with the weather in mind.

Wedding Cake 4:30 pm
Gather together as we cut the cake! We have a selection of austrian cakes, soo there is something for everyone.

Photos 5:00 pm
Time for photos with family and friends. We'll let you know where to gather on the day.

Dinner 7:00 pm
A sit-down dinner featuring wonderful food and speeches. Please let us know of any dietary requirements in advance so we can make sure everyone is taken care of.

First Dance 10:30 pm
Join us on the dancefloor as we share our first dance as a married couple!

Party 10:30 pm – 2:00 am
The celebrations continue! Dance the night away with us until 2am. We hope you'll stay and make memories with us late into the night.
