Our Wedding Location - “Gipfelhaus am Magdalensberg”
1,059m above sea level, the Gipfelhaus offers an amazing view of the southernmost state of Austria, Carinthia. Equipped with a small 14th-century church and surrounded by mountain wildlife, we aim to blend Austrian tradition with an atmosphere reminiscent of the Drakensberg and parts of the Cape in South Africa.
Wedding Weekend Schedule
We will be having a small welcome dinner at the venue the evening before the wedding in traditional Austrian clothing. The wedding ceremony will start at 3 pm and continue till late.

Welcome Dinner from 7:00pm
Join us in lederhosen and dirndl for a festive evening filled with Austrian food, drinks, and laughter! Don’t worry — you’re also welcome to come in regular clothes if you prefer. We’ll be starting around 7pm, but feel free to arrive whenever it suits you. The evening will likely wind down around 9–10pm. Please let us know if you’ll be joining us — we’d love to see you there!

Church Ceremony 3:00 pm
The ceremony will begin at 3pm — please arrive a little early to be seated. Shuttle services to the venue will be available; please make sure to register if you’d like to use them. The dress code is festive formal, with the weather in mind.
